Hey Mike,

Good stuff, have you heard of Reinhard Engels? This sounds similar to his weekend luddite concept.
http://www.everydaysystems.com/weekendluddite/

As a person trying to simplify life, this is not surprising. He has good ideas too, like the no s diet and shovelglove. I don't do shovelglove myself since I'm finally learning to squat and deadlift with good weight, but I understand the draw of non-fitness types.

I sent your summary of learnings to several people (hoping they especially pay attention to the low-fat part...I have fat friends still believing all that mess).

Thanks...

Susan - It all comes down to the universally known 80/20 rule. 80% of all success and results come from doing the important 20%....as the other 80% is less important and delivers few results. Of course done on a consistent basis and then the real results come. I think we all tend to complicate too many things nowadays and can lose sight of that important 20% we should just focus on. It's good to try and take a break once in a while to refocus and make sure we are on track. It's all a journey in the end, so it's all about the steps we take daily. Little things we can do daily, can add up to great things. Instead of focusing on results/money/success now...we just need to ask "what do I need to do right now in the present moment". If we do that....the results will come soon enough. Those that are always looking at the end result before knowing what they need to do....end up never reaching their goals because they are too focused on the future.
Ebook issues should be solved soon as my delivery system I had planned is not working. In the meantime of course please feel free to ask me any questions you may have and I will be happy to help out.

I think your point that small but important things done right, on a consistent basis leads to progress is KEY. We all want success now, but personal habits take time to change - as I keep telling myself.

I am personally trying to find an equilibrium, and this advice helps. Small steps in the right direction........will still take me to the 'place' I want to be.

Thanks for your insightful comments.

BTW - when do you expect to send the IF ebook? I have registered but not received mine yet.

Thanks
